Students from several classes (listed below) were privileged to get some one on one time with a 25 year veteran of the U.S. Foreign Affairs Office. Ambassador George Staples made a special trip to Hillsboro while in town to speak to students in Belmont University’s Center for International Business World Affairs Council, which is an official partner of The Academy of International Business at Hillsboro.

The students learned what life is like as a Diplomat or Ambassador, what it takes to get into the Foreign Affairs Office, how to choose careers or areas of interest, details of his time serving in Rwanda and Bahrain, and much more. View video from the visit below.
