Trish Townsend, personal stylist to Carrie Underwood, spoke to the students in Pearl-Cohn High’s

Personal Care Services-Stylist & Image Consulting class in the school's Academy of Entertainment. Townsend talked with the students about how important it is to know the likes and dislikes of a client. She shared her own story of entering the fashion and consulting business, and she encouraged the students to take full advantage of programs like the academy they are enrolled in at Pearl-Cohn. 

Townsend is one of the Nashville music industry’s most influential behind-the-scenes players. Throughout her career, Townsend’s eye for fashion and ability to translate personal style into public image have made her the go-to stylist for stars like Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Ann Womack, Alan Jackson, Keith Anderson, Brian Setzer, John Rich, Blake Shelton, Montgomery Gentry, Tim McGraw, and many more. She has styled stars for various award shows including the Grammys, CMAs, CMT Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
